Three people currently sit on the Foundation Board:

Daniel Thalmann, Chairman:

Daniel Thalmann is the great-grandson of Cuno Amiet. He was born in Berne in 1958, trained as a hotelier and held management positions in the hotel industry and tourism for several years. He studied marketing, advertising and corporate communications management. For 25 years he worked as an independent communications consultant and ran his own agency specialising in live communications. Daniel Thalmann has been caring for the artistic legacies of Cuno Amiet and Peter Thalmann since 2008. He has been a Member of the Board and Chairman of the Fondation Cuno Amiet since 2017.

Pia Thalmann, Member of the Board:

Pia Thalmann is married to Daniel Thalmann and was born in Zug in 1959. She studied marketing, human resources and mediation, and also trained as a coach for children and young persons. She has many years of experience in marketing, communications and HR marketing. With her husband, she has been caring for the artistic legacies of Cuno Amiet and Peter Thalmann since 2008. She has been a Member of the Board since early 2018.

Harald Hofer, Member of the Board:

Harald Hofer was born in Berne in 1966 and studied business administration, finance and banking. He has held various positions in wealth management and asset management for institutional and private clients for over 30 years. He has also acted as a consultant to several high-profile pension funds and for several years trained accountants in investing. Since October 2020 he is co-owner and partner of the company Geelhaar & Hofer Vermögensentwicklung KLG. He has been a Member of the Board of the Fondation Cuno Amiet since 2017.
